Detailed Description
	Statement Reference conv[GD13967]; Scer\GAL4[αTub84B.PL] is embryonic/larval lethal. The embryos have an uncondensed ventral nerve cord. When expression is driven with Scer\GAL4[l(3)H94-H94], Scer\GAL4[how-24B] or Scer\GAL4[5053A] motor axon targeting defects are seen in late third instar larvae. With Scer\GAL4[how-24B] neuromuscular junctions have bouton defects characterized by tangled arbors that fail to extend normally. However, no obvious embryonic/larval neuro-anatomical phenotype is caused by driving conv[GD13967] with Scer\GAL4[elav.PLu]. (Kurusu et al., 2008)
