Expression of Usp5GD6741 under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B (but not Scer\GAL4Toll-6-D42) results in neuromuscular junction morphological defects and decreased bouton number in third instar larvae.
Expression of Usp5GD6741 in the eye under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU results in rough and small (occasionally missing) eyes. Expression of Usp5GD6741 in the wing under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU results in uninflated vestigial or missing wings.
Expression of Usp5GD6741 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU results in a small eye phenotype. Expression of Usp5GD6741 in the dorsal part of the eye disc under the control of Scer\GAL4mirr-DE results in extremely high levels of apoptosis in the dorsal region of third instar larvae, anterior to the morphogenetic furrow.
Many Scer\GAL4elav.PU, CG12082GD6741 animals die as pharates; those that survive are slower than controls and are dead by 40 days. Expression of CG12082GD6741 using a weaker Scer\GAL4elav.PU results in mildly slower adults. Scer\GAL4repo, CG12082GD6741 animals die as pharates and young adults.
Expression of CG12082GD6741 under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 results in wrinkled wings and loss of wing margin bristles.
