Detailed Description

5% of egg chambers have abnormal numbers of germ cells in females expressing sosieGD250 under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16. Approximately 60% of stage 5-10 egg chambers show cortical F-actin defects.

Expression of sosieGD250 under the control of Scer\GAL4109-30 does not result in defects in packaging or germ cell number in egg chambers.

Border cells often migrate ahead of outer follicle cells in the egg chambers of females expressing sosieGD250 under the control of either Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 or Scer\GAL4109-79.

25% of egg chambers show irregular or distorted follicle cell epithelia organisation in females expressing sosieGD250 under the control of Scer\GAL4109-79.
