What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release.
It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other
FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled
vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference The total duration of sleep per 24 hour period is not significantly different from wild type in flies expressing BTBD9[GD9543] under the control of either Scer\GAL4[elav-C155], Scer\GAL4[ple.PF] or Scer\GAL4[Ddc.HL9]. However, during the night the mean sleep bout length is decreased, the mean sleep bout number is increased and the amount of wake after sleep onset is increased in the mutant flies compared to wild type, indicating fragmented night-time sleep.
Expression of BTBD9[GD9543] under the control of Scer\GAL4[Ddc.HL5] does not result in defects in night-time sleep in adult flies. | |||
