Expression of ohgt^GD11111 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Cg.PA leads to bigger body and organ size, as assessed by pupal body length, and wet weight and wing area in adults; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^fat also leads to greater pupal body length relative to controls.

Adults expressing CG3925^GD11111 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
