Unlike controls, the expression of ais^GD11699 under the control of Scer\GAL4^nos.PG leads to ovaries with 'stem cysts' proximal to the self-renewal niche, where cells are interlinked by fusome-like structures, and lacking spectrosome-containing cells.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^Mef2.PR results in late pupal lethality.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^pnr-MD237 results in bristle morphology defects on the notum in 50-60% of the Scer\GAL4^pnr-MD237 expression domain.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^pnr-MD237 results in the absence of 60-70% of the Scer\GAL4^pnr-MD237-expressing area of the notum.
