Expression of Ciz1^GD12382 under the control of Scer\GAL4^hh.PU leads to an increase in cell death in third instar larval wing discs.

Adults expressing CG8108^GD12382 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression of CG8108^GD12382 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) results in partial lethality or complete lethality, depending on the particular P{GD12382} insertion line used.
