Expression of one copy of DUBAIGD14040 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa results in a rough eye phenotype at 29[o]C. The phenotype is more severe if the flies are either also heterozygous for DUBAIKG07439 or are carrying two copies of DUBAIGD14040.

Scer\GAL4sqh.PW, CG8830GD14040 adults are slower than controls.

Scer\GAL4elav.PU, CG8830GD14040 adults are slower than controls.

Expression of CG8830GD14040 under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 does not result in a wing phenotype.

Expression of CG8830GD14040 under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PU does not result in a bristle phenotype.

Adults expressing DUBAIGD14040 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
