Expression of Dcr-1GD11429 in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4ppl.PP increases the survival rates of both males and female adult flies subjected to nutrient starvation when compared to control flies.

Expression of Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429 engenders an autonomous reduction in cell size the adult wing. As a consequence, the size of the adult wing is also reduced.

Co-expression of Dcr-1Scer\UAS.cDa restores cell and tissue size in wings expressing Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429.

Dcr-1Q1147X heterozygosity enhances the wing size defects caused by the expression of Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429. The viability of these flies is drastically reduced.

Wing disc cells expressing Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1>Dcr-1GD11429 show G[[1]]-S cell cycle delay.

Adults expressing Dcr-1GD11429 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression of Dcr-1GD11429 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) results in viable flies or complete lethality, depending on the particular P{GD11429} insertion line used.

Expression of p53H159N.Scer\UAS.Ex suppresses the increase in survival rate in response to starvation in adult flies expressing Dcr-1GD11429 in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4ppl.PP.

Expression of Dcr-1GD11429 largely rescues the dorsal-ventral boundary defects seen when NdsRNA.P.Scer\UAS is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4vg.int2.1.

Co-expression of CycEScer\UAS.cLa with Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429 restores cell and wing size.

Heterozygous dap4 restores cell and wing size in animals expressing Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429.

The tissue and cell size defects caused by Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429 in adult wings are largely suppressed when dmScer\UAS.cZa is co-expressed.

The tissue and cell size defects caused by Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429 in adult wings are largely suppressed when dmhs.PSA is co-expressed.

The tissue and cell size defects caused by Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429 in adult wings are largely suppressed when dmαTub84B.PBb is co-expressed.

The cell size defects caused by Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429 in adult wings are largely suppressed when mei-P26KK106754 is co-expressed.

banhs.PH expression can rescue the tissue and size defects caused by Scer\GAL4en-e16E>Dcr-1GD11429 in adult wings.
