Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4¹⁴⁰⁷ results in an increased number and size of GFP-positive aggregates within neuroblast lineage cells in the larval brain compared to controls (these aggregates may indicate cell death or a disturbance of internal cellular structures).

Adults expressing E(bx)^GD10909 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) show significantly reduced avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Adults expressing E(bx)^GD10909 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) show no significant change in the kinetics of high temperature (46[o]C) induced paralysis compared to control flies.
