The expression of Myd88GD9716 under the control of Scer\GAL4c564 leads to a significant decrease in survival to a combined M. luteus and E. faecalis bacterial infection, as compared to controls.

Expression of Myd88GD9716 RNAi under the control Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ driver does not rescue the lowered survival of adult flies on lard-supplemented diet compared to controls.

Adults expressing Myd88GD9716 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Flies expressing Myd88GD9716 under the control of Scer\GAL4c564 show reduced survival compared to control flies when they are infected with M. luteus and then 24 hours later they are infected with E. faecalis.

The expression of Myd88GD9716 under the control of Scer\GAL4apolpp.PB enhances the tumor phenotype of dlg1A40.2 wing discs, while suppressing the associated apoptosis (Dcp1 staining).

Scer\GAL4apolpp.PB-driven expression of DefUAS.cTa in Myd88GD9716, dlg1A40.2 double mutants partially re-establishes the original dlg1A40.2 phenotypes.

Co-expression of Myd88GD9716 suppresses the loss of the sessile hemocyte banding pattern which is seen in larvae expressing Tl10b.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ.
