Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Expression of Plip[GD4965] under the control of Scer\GAL4[ninaE.PT] has no phenotypic effect on outer photoreceptor cells.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4[1407] results in loss of neuroblasts in the larval brain associated with increased size of the remaining neuroblasts. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4[1407] results in shorter neuroblast lineages (less daughter cells per neuroblast) in the larval brain compared to controls. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4[1407] results in mild defects in the shape of ganglion mother cells in the larval brain. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4[1407] results in mild defects in the shape of neuroblasts in the larval brain.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] results in bristle morphology defects on the notum in 60-70% of the Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] expression domain. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] results in planar polarity defects in the orientation of bristles of the notum in 30-40% of the Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] expression domain. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] results in the absence of 40-50% of the Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237]-expressing area of the notum.

Co-expression of Plip[GD4965] under the control of Scer\GAL4[ninaE.PT] significantly suppresses the TER94[R188Q.Scer\UAS] photoreceptor cell phenotype. Co-expression of Plip[GD4965] under the control of Scer\GAL4[ninaE.PT] significantly suppresses the TER94[A229E.Scer\UAS] photoreceptor cell phenotype. Co-expression of Plip[GD4965] under the control of Scer\GAL4[ninaE.PT] has no significant effect on TER94[K2A.Scer\UAS]-induced photoreceptor cell degradation.
