UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in early larval lethality.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in grossly normal larval body wall muscles.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in sarcomeres with irregular aggregates of Z-lines in the larval body wall muscles.
Scer\GAL4Ugt36A1.PK, Sod1GD7385, Sod2GD14064 has adult heart phenotype
Co-expression of SodGD7385 and Sod2GD14064 in nonmyocytic pericardial cells, under the control of Scer\GAL4Dot.PK results in an abnormal heart rhythm, with an increased frequency of irregular beats, a broader distribution of HPs and significantly increased the arrhythmia index. There is significant cardiac narrowing, with significant reductions in both the diastolic and systolic diameters of young and old flies compared with control flies.
