Expressing Stat92EGD4492 under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 leads to early germline cell loss in L3 male gonads.

Flies expressing Stat92EGD4492 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.Switch.PR (induced by Mifepristone) show decreased survival in food contaminated with S. marcescens (an entomopathogenic bacterium) than controls.

Adults expressing Stat92EGD4492 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Depending on the insertion line used, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR can result in viable flies or late pupal lethality.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in semi-lethality, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in bristle morphology defects on the notum in 0% or 30-40% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 expression domain, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in the absence of 0% or 70-80% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237-expressing area of the notum, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression of Stat92EGD4492 under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PU partially rescues the reduced fecundity of Ptp61FΔ females.

The melanotic tumour phenotype see in animals carrying gcmDN.Scer\UAS.T:en-Rep, Scer\GAL4srp.D.cCa and Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B which have been raised at 18[o]C and then shifted to 29[o]C during the first larval instar stage is completely suppressed if they are also co-expressing Stat92EGD4492.
