Presynaptic expression of cdc2GD10728 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 causes synaptic retractions in less than 10% of synapses.

Expression of cdc2GD10728 under the control of Scer\GAL4c768 results defects in maintenance of the neuroepithelium cells in the developing optic lobe and premature neuroblast formation. There is an increase in mitotic neuroepithelium cells and a reduction in BrdU incorporation compared to wild type.

Clones in the developing optic lobe expressing cdc2GD10728 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU are very small. Some of the mutant cells are extruded from the neuroepithelium and basally enter the medulla cortex, where ectopic neuroblasts form prematurely.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 results in abnormally large neuroblasts greater than two times the normal cell diameter being seen in the larval brain.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 results in an increase in the average size of neuroblasts in the larval brain compared to controls.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 results in shorter neuroblast lineages (less daughter cells per neuroblast) in the larval brain compared to controls.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 results in mild defects in the shape of neuroblasts in the larval brain.

Depending on the insertion line used, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR can result in viable flies or late pupal lethality.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in semi-lethality, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in the absence of 90-100% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237-expressing area of the notum.
