      Expression of nrv3GD4520 under the control of Scer\GAL4nompA.cK has no significant effect on hearing (assayed by measuring sound-evoked potentials in the antennal nerve).

      Expression of nrv3GD4520 under the control of Scer\GAL4ato.PU results in almost complete hearing loss (assayed by measuring sound-evoked potentials in the antennal nerve).
