Pupal eye clones of cells expressing wtsGD1563 driven by Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL exhibit increased clonal area as well as overproliferation of interommatidial cells.

Expression of wtsGD1563 under the control of Scer\GAL4hh.PU results in overgrowth of the posterior wing compartment.

Expression of wtsGD1563 under the simultaneous control of both Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa and Scer\GAL4ey.200.Exel results in adults with increased eye size compared to controls. The retinas contain an excess of interommatidial cells.

Adults expressing wtsGD1563 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in a colour difference between the central Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 expression domain of the notum and the surrounding lateral region in 0% or 40-50% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 expression domain, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in mild thorax closure defects, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in an enlarged notum, depending on the insertion line used.
