The expression of ttm50UAS.Tag:HA under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG results in longer dendrites in class IV da neurons at 7h APF.

Expression of ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4109(2)80 results in fragmented spherical mitochondrial morphology as well as shortening of the dendritic arbor in the class IV ddaC neurons in third instar larvae. ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 expression driven by either Scer\GAL4221 or Scer\GAL4smid-C161 also leads to moderate dendrite loss.

Expression of ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C can result in lethality, depending on the P{UAS-ttm50.HA} insertion line used.

Expression of ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in a mild rough eye phenotype.

The shortening of the dendritic arbor in class IV ddaC neurons observed in third instar larvae expressing ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4109(2)80 can be rescued by co-expression of PPP1R15Scer\UAS.cMa.

The rough eye phenotype caused by expression of ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is suppressed by Df(3L)H99/+ or Wunspecified/+ and enhanced by thunspecified/+.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Co-expression of BacA\p35Scer\UAS.cHa almost completely suppresses the rough eye phenotype caused by expression of ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, and in addition, the total number of ommatidia is increased in these flies.

Co-expression of BacA\p35Scer\UAS.cHa and ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in an increase in nuclear density and an increase in cell proliferation (as assayed by BrdU incorporation) in the imaginal disc.
