Expression of Rab35S22N.UAS.YFP under the control of CtxGlia-SplitGal4 (Hsim\VP16AD.nrv2 and Scer\GAL4DBD.wrapper.932i) leads to an altered cortex glial morphology in third instar larvae when compared to controls.

Scer\GAL4He.PZ-driven expression of Rab35S22N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP does not induce increase in the number of circulating hemocytes in third instar larvae relative to controls.

Expression of Rab35S22N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS causes formation of ectopic gas-filled seamless tubes close to the terminal cell nucleus. Terminal cell actin cytoskeleton is not significantly altered.

Excitatory junctional current (EJC) amplitude and quantal content at the neuromuscular junction are reduced in third instar larvae expressing Rab35S22N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4n-syb.PS compared to controls.

Expression of Rab35S22N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR57C10 partially rescues the bang sensitivity of parabss1/+ flies, but does not rescue the bang sensitivity of hemizygous parabss1 flies or eas2 mutants.

Expression of Rab35S22N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS strongly rescues the "U-turn" phenotype seen in wkd220/Df(3R)Exel6276 mutant terminal tracheal cells. The pupal stage lethality seen in wkd220/Df(3R)Exel6276 mutants is also rescued.

Expression of Rab35S22N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4n-syb.PS suppresses sky2/Df(2L)Exel7080 lethality; survival to the third larval instar is significantly improved and some of the double mutants eclose as uncoordinated adults.
