Homozygous aux^W1150X mutants die before larval stage.

Mutant animals of heteroallelic combinations for aux^W1150X/aux^I670K can occasionally survive until adulthood when raised at 18^oC. They eye phenotypes of these animals, although raised at 18^oC, are more drastic than the eye roughness exhibited by aux^I670K homozygotes at 25^oC.
