    Expression of Atg1GS10797 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in reduced adult eye size.

    Expression of Atg1GS10797 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA results in the larval fat body being reduced in size and showing extensive cell death.

    The salivary glands of wandering larvae expressing Atg1GS10797 under the control of Scer\GAL4fkh.PH are condensed and degraded compared to control glands at the same stage, and almost complete degradation of the glands is seen by 6 hours after puparium formation in animals expressing Atg1GS10797 under the control of Scer\GAL4fkh.PH.

    Expression of Atg1GS10797 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA results in variable reduction in cell size and induction of autophagy in the fat body.
