Overexpression of Hsap\YAP1^{S127A.YAP2.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG} driven by Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PI in somatic clones induces tumorigenesis in the ovarian follicular epithelium.

Expression of Hsap\YAP1^{S127A.YAP2.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG} in the developing wing under the control of Scer\GAL4^C5 causes severe malformation of the wing with large air bubbles in between apical and basal layers.

Expression of Hsap\YAP1^{S127A.YAP2.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG} under the control of Scer\GAL4^{Scer\FRT.Act5C} increases the adult eye size and disrupts retinal patterning, with an increase in the number of interommatidial bristle s.

Expression of Hsap\YAP1^{S127A.YAP2.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG} under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF results in a significant increase in the size of larval eye discs and in the number of interommatidial cells. In the adult, the eyes are overgrown and folded with severe morphological defects.
