      Females expressing subATP.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 show a high rate of nondisjunction. The meiotic spindles of oocytes in these females show abnormal, albeit, mild defects in microtubule organisation, with spindles that are frayed, unusually curved, lack interpolar microtubules or have asymmetries such as large knob structures.
