Expression of GSd236^GSd236 under the control of Scer\GAL4^109(2)80 results in defects in the dendrites of dorsal cluster dendritic arborisation (da) neurons in third instar larvae: the number of spine-like protrusions in the class III da neurons is reduced and dendrite branching is reduced in the class IV da neurons.

Expression of GSd236^GSd236 under the control of Scer\GAL4^smid-C161 results in the primary dendrites of the ddaA da neurons lacking spine-like protrusions (in contrast to wild type).

A number of defects are seen in the Fas2-positive axon bundles in the ventral nerve cord of embryos expressing GSd236^GSd236 under the control of Scer\GAL4^scrt-11-6, including missing or disrupted axon bundles, axon bundles which are diffuse or less distinct than normal and axons which are misplaced within the connective.
