Expression of CanA1JF01871 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU results in increased mortality during development and increased number of glial cells in third instar larval brain compared to controls.

The small and rough eye phenotype observed in flies expressing Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is exacerbated further by co-expression of CanA1JF01871 RNAi.

The increased number of glial cells in third instar larval brain observed in larvae expressing either Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS or CanA1JF01871 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU does not increase further when Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS and CanA1JF01871 are co-expressed.

The increased mortality during development characteristic for flies expressing either Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS or under the control of CanA1JF01871 is dramatically increased if both Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS and CanA1JF01871 are expressed simultaneously.
