Expression of lolaJF02254 driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU does not significantly affect eye morphology.

Expression of lolaJF02254 in muscle under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU results in significant hyperglycaemia.

Expression of lolaJF02254 in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4DcG results in significant hyperglycaemia.

Expression of lolaJF02254 in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4DcG results in significant higher trehalose levels than controls.

Only 50% of males expressing lolaJF02254 under the control of Scer\GAL4fru.P1.D initiate courtship behaviour towards wild-type females during a 1 hour observation period, and those that do court show a significant delay.

The expression of lolaJF02254 under the control of Scer\GAL4221, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in third instar larval class I abdominal dorsal multidendritic neurons ddaD and ddaE exhibiting a significant decrease in the number of dendrite branch terminals, as compared to controls.

Expressing lolaJF02254 under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in third intar larval class IV abdominal dorsal multidendritic neurons ddaC exhibiting dendrite branch terminals of similar number but of significantly lower average length, as compared to controls.

Expression of lolaJF02254 in C-I neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4221 results in ddaD neurons that have an increased number of dendritic branches compared to controls. Dendritic phenotypes are also seen in ddaE neurons. No defects are seen in vpda neurons.

Expression of lolaJF02254 in C-IV neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 results in a reduction in total dendritic length in ddaC, v'ada and vdaB neurons. The total number of dendritic branches is also reduced in ddaC and vdaB neurons.

Co-expression of lolaJF02254 suppresses the rough eye phenotype in flies with forGD6843 driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU. Expression of lolaJF02254 driven by Scer\GAL4elav.PU partially suppresses targeting defects seen in motor axons of intersegmental nerve b (ISNb) in Df(2L)ED243/Df(2L)ED243 mutant embryos.
