The expression of erm^JF02342 under the control of Scer\GAL4^pnt-14-94 or Scer\GAL4^GMR9D11 leads to an increase in the number of type II neuroblasts in the larval brain.

The expression of IntS2^KK100750 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4^wor.PU, Scer\GAL80^ase.PN and Dicer-2 (for an efficient RNAi) does not affect the number of type II neuroblasts within type II lineages in the larval brain, despite causing an ectopic number of type II neuroblast lineages per hemisphere.
