      Flies expressing Prx5Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU in a Prx5EY02106 mutant background show decreased survival relative to wild-type after septic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.

      Flies expressing Prx5Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS or Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL show an increase in median life span compared to controls (increase of 13-24% and of 29-30% respectively).

      Flies expressing Prx5Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS show an increased resistance to paraquat compared to controls.

      Flies expressing Prx5Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL show a slightly increased resistance to hydrogen peroxide or hyperoxia compared to controls.

      Expression of Prx5Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4Appl.G1a or Scer\GAL4Switch1.106 has no effect on fly survival under normal or oxidative stress conditions.
