Scer\GAL4^tub.PU-mediated expression results in a significant enlargement of the wing, eye, leg and haltere discs - they are generally about 50% larger than wild type. Wing imaginal discs have a similar number of cells as wild type, but cell size is increased. Neuroblast cells show pulverized and improperly condensed chromosomes.
