What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release.
It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other
FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled
vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference Expression of egg[dsRNA.hp.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[Act5C] results in a number of defects; larvae are more sluggish in their feeding and wandering behaviour than normal, animals often fail to eclose from the pupal case, and newly eclosed adults often fail to complete wing expansion. Surviving adult males and females have shorter lifespans than normal, often dying within 2 days of eclosion. Males show a significantly lower survival to adulthood than females.
Expression of egg[dsRNA.hp.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[nos.PG] decreased egg production.
Expression of egg[dsRNA.hp.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[da.G32] results in suppression of w variegation of the "118E-28" line (which contains the P{hsp26-pt-T}118E-28a and P{hsp26-pt-T}118E-28b insertions).
Expression of egg[dsRNA.hp.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[da.G32] results in suppression of w variegation of the P{hsp26-pt-T}39C-12, P{hsp26-pt-T}39C-2, P{hsp26-pt-T}118E-10 and P{hsp26-pt-T}118E-25-5 insertions.
Expression of egg[dsRNA.hp.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[nos.PG] has no effect on the degree of w variegation of the P{hsp26-pt-T}118E-10 and P{hsp26-pt-T}39C-12 insertions.
Expression of egg[dsRNA.hp.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[ey.200.Exel] results in suppression of w variegation of the P{hsp26-pt-T}118E-10 and P{hsp26-pt-T}39C-12 insertions. | |||
