Expression of β3GalTIIdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 results in curly wings with concavity along the anteroposterior axis in 100% of cases.

Expression of β3GalTIIdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 does not result in a curly wing phenotype.

Flies expressing β3GalTIIdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PS have a weak rough eye phenotype, including abnormal interommatidial bristles (20-30% penetrance).
