Expression of Myt1KK102559 (in combination with tub-GAL80[ts]) under the control of Scer\GAL4esg.PU (also in combination with Scer\GAL80[Su(H).GBE]), Scer\GAL4Su(H).GBE or Scer\GAL4GMR28E03 leads to increased number of dividing cells (both intestinal stem cells and enteroblasts) in adult midgut.

Expression of Myt1KK102559 under the control of Scer\GAL4esg.PU (in combination with tub-GAL80[ts]) leads to an increase in the proportion of G1 phase cells relative to G2 phase cells and a decrease in the number of endocycling enteroblasts in adult gut. It also leads to an increase in the number of enteroblasts while it leads to a decrease in the number of intestinal stem cells.

Clones expressing Myt1KK102559 under the control of Scer\GAL4esg.PU exhibit decreased number of enterocytes in adult gut.

Expression of Myt1KK102559 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E does not affect the size of the adult wing posterior compartment, as compared to controls.
