The expression of Ufd1-likeKK108134 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 induces significant locomotor defects in both larvae (lower distances traveled) and adults (progressive decrease in climbing behavior in negative geotaxis assays). Larval NMJs show microtubules defects (frequently lacking Futsch staining) but apparently normal branch sizes, as compared to controls. Motor neuron axons do not show any obvious microtubule or ER defects.
