      Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI>PpcdcKK109377 flies are viable but have a reduced lifespan compared to wild type and females show sterility associated with small ovaries and no eggs are produced; addition of coenzyme A (CoA) to food increases mutant lifespan from around 10 days to around 30 days and rescues female sterility.
