The expression of ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR leads to indirect flight muscle atrophy during pupal development (after 48h APF); fibers are longer than in controls, failing to compact at 24h APF. Expression from pupal stages onward (by the additional control of Gal80[ts[) leads to similar defects.

Expressing ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results in a significant reduction of the anterior-posterior compartment boundary of the wing disc, while expression under the control of Scer\GAL4hh-Gal4 causes a severe reduction of the wing disc posterior compartment in third instar larvae.

In the ventral nerve cord of third instar larvae, somatic clones of type I lineages expressing ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4Tub.PU have an overall decreased volume compared to controls.

Expressing ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 has no effect on central nervous system size or neuroblast proliferation in late-first/early-second instar larvae.

The expression of ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 does not lead to obvious size defects in third instar larval wing discs, as compared to controls.

Expression of ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 results in tumorous female germaria with ectopic germline stem cell/cystoblast-like cells.

Wings discs expressing ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E at 18[o]C are similar in size to controls.

The brain and ventral nerve cord of flies expressing ykiKK109756 under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.PU are reduced in size and contain fewer glial cells. Total brain volume is reduced. Third instar larval eye discs also contain fewer glial cells, having on average 66 in comparison with the 105 seen in wild-type.
