Expression of Not1JF03096 under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf does not affect the oscillation of per and tim proteins in Pdf-positive pacemaker neurons, but it dampens the oscillation of Pdf protein in the axons (under the standard light:dark conditions) as well as the amplitude of free-running (in constant dark conditions) circadian locomotor activity rhythm.

Expression of Not1JF03096 (together with UAS-Dicer2 to enhance RNAi efficiency) under the control of Scer\GAL4bam.T:Hsim\VP16 results in highly penetrant tumorigenic phenotype due to spermatogonial overgrowth in adult testes.
