Expressing ykiS168A.UAS.EGFP,Tag:HA under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 leads to a widening of the Dpp expression domain within the wing disc, without its cells showing an invasive phenotype.

Third instar larval eye-antennal imaginal disc clones expressing ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU form non-invasive tumors and induce autophagosomes in a cell non-autonomous manner in neighboring clonal tissue, as compared to controls.

Expression of ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in massive eye overgrowth.

The size of third instar larval eye-antennal imaginal disc tumors resulting from the clonal expression of ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU is not decreased when neighboring disc tissue is homozygous for Atg13Δ81.

The massive eye overgrowth characteristic for adult flies expressing ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is further enhanced by combination with a single copy of UtxΔ, partially suppressed by combination with JMJD5KO or NO66KO and not modified by combination with any of the following: Kdm2KO, JHDM2KO, Kdm4AKO, Kdm4BKO, lid10424, Jarid2KO, JMJD7KO, Df(3R)HSPBAP1-KO, PSRFM1 and JMJD4KO.

Expression of hipkScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 suppresses the overgrowth seen when ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1. The phenotype is rescued in all tissues examined, including the wing disc and the eye. Fewer ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 expressing cells are seen, indicating that cell proliferation has been reduced.

Homozygous RnrLA4B5 partially suppresses the wing disc overgrowth phenotype seen when ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 mutant clones are generated under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL.

Clones co-expressing hpoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG and ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI are recovered in the wing disc.

Clones co-expressing hpoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG, ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP,T:Ivir\HA1 and wtsScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI are not recovered in the wing disc.
