chaeta & mesothoracic tergum | somatic clone
Homozygous clones in the wing result in a crumpled wing blade. Ectopic wing veins are present, in particular near veins L2, L3 and the anterior crossvein, sometimes concomitant with an incomplete posterior crossvein.
Homozygous clones in the notum can result in the loss of bristles, a grossly reduced scutellum, or loss of the entire hemi-notum.
