The eye phenotype in Ras85D[KP] mutant flies is partially suppressed by ectopic expression of Traf4[dsRNA.Scer\UAS] in the eye under the control of Scer\GAL4[GMR.PF].
The small-eye phenotype caused by expression of egr[Scer\UAS.cIa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[GMR.PF] is not suppressed by co-expression of Traf4[dsRNA.Scer\UAS].
Expression of Traf4[dsRNA.Scer\UAS] (under the control of Scer\GAL4[Act5C.PI]) using the FLP/FRT system fails to suppress metastatic behaviour in l(2)gl[4] mutants expressing Ras85D[V12.Scer\UAS].

Statement
Reference
Expression of Traf4[dsRNA.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4 in flies expressing BacA\p35[GMR.PH] does not result in an eye phenotype. Expression of Traf4[dsRNA.Scer\UAS] (under the control of Scer\GAL4[GMR.PF]) and BacA\p35[GMR.PH] in a Ras85D[KP] mutant background strongly suppresses the eye phenotype.
