Expression of taiHM05182 under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU in third instar larvae leads to shrinkage of the posterior domain of the wing disc without significantly altering the size of the anterior domain, as compared to controls. These flies die during P-stage.

Expression of taiHM05182 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in a significant reduction in wing size, as compared to wild type.

Expression of taiHM05182 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU shrinks both adult head and eye size, as compared to wild type.

The expression of taiHM05182 under the control of Scer\GAL4221 results in a reduced dendritic arborization in third instar larval class I abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaD and ddaE neurons, as compared to controls; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in no obvious dendrite morphology defects in abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaD neurons, as compared to controls.
