Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference Expression of lft[NIG.13139R] under the control of Scer\GAL4[Act] results in flies with slightly shorter wings than normal. The reduced length of the wing is most obvious in the middle of the wing, where the distance between the anterior and the posterior crossveins is decreased.
Expression of lft[NIG.13139R] under the control of Scer\GAL4[en-e16E] results in a modest, but statistically significant, increase in the relative size of the posterior compartment of the wing disc (where Scer\GAL4[en-e16E] is expressed) to 87% of anterior compartment size (in control wing discs, the posterior compartment is 80% of the size of the anterior compartment). | |||
