The expression of TkR99DJF02663 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 does not affect the expected increase in food consumption induced by dietary amino acids, as observed in controls.

Expression of TkR99DJF02663 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU in adult females does not affect locomotor activity in fed conditions, compared to controls; like controls, locomotor activity is significantly increased under starvation conditions.

Knockdown of TkR99D in enterocrine cells, through expression of TkR99DJF02663 under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 is sufficient to result in an increase in midgut lipid production and whole-body triglyceride storage.
