UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
nucleus | adult stage | decreased number | male, with Scer\GAL4esg.PU
Expressing E2f1JF02718 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA leads to adipocytes exhibiting reduced perinuclear microtubule concentration and decreased ploidy, without preventing differentiation, as they are still full of lipid droplets. Decreased ploidy is also observed upon conditional expression from L2 onwards (temporal control of expression using Gal80[ts]).
Adult flies expressing E2f1JF02718 under the control of Scer\GAL4Dot.PK display nephrocyte functional defects (measured by uptake assays) but their adult lifespan is comparable to controls.
Expression of E2f1JF02718 in muscle under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU results in significant hyperglycaemia.
E2f1JF02718, Scer\GAL4esg.PU is a suppressor of increased cell growth rate | male | adult stage phenotype of DpUAS.cDa, E2f1UAS.cNa, Scer\GAL4esg.PU
E2f1JF02718, Scer\GAL4Cg.PA is a suppressor of fat cell | third instar larval stage phenotype of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA, shotJF02971
E2f1JF02718, Scer\GAL4Cg.PA is a suppressor of nucleus | third instar larval stage phenotype of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA, shotJF02971
