Expression of Rab11JF02812 under the control of CtxGlia-SplitGal4 (Hsim\VP16AD.nrv2 and Scer\GAL4DBD.wrapper.932i) leads to an altered cortex glial morphology in third instar larvae when compared to controls.

Animals expressing Rab11JF02812 under the control of Scer\GAL4grh.D4 are lethal, show defects in larval dorsal trunk elongation (resulting in internalization of posterior spiracles into the body cavity) and the larvae are smaller than age-matched controls.

Expression of Rab11JF02812 under the control of Scer\GAL4tj-NP1624 results in abolished formation of stalk and monolayered epithelium and in follicle cells of germaria and early egg chambers.

Third larval instar adipocytes expressing Rab11JF02812 under the control of Scer\GAL4SPARC-MI00329-GAL4 show a significant decrease in both plasma membrane depth and sinuosity compared to control cells.

Expression of Rab11JF02812 in secondary cells under the control of Scer\GAL4dsx.KI reduces exosome secretion into the accessory gland lumen compared to controls.
