Embryos expressing sanoScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS have shortened dorsal trunks.

Expression of sanoScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in misorientation of bristles in the adult thorax. These animals show a decrease in overall wing size.

Expression of sanoScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results in swirling wing hair patterns in the adult. The distance between wing veins L3 and L4 is reduced compared to wild type (this is not due to an effect on cell number).

Expression of sanoScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev results in ommatidial polarity defects, including misoriented and symmetrical photoreceptor phenotypes, as well as abnormal photoreceptor numbers. Approximately 14.5% of the ommatidia show defects.
