Expressing Nurf-38^JF01299 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ppl.PU does not significantly affect lipid droplet size in the larval fat body, as compared to controls.

(Yao et al., 2018)

Expression of Nurf-38^JF01299 results in: crinkled wings (with Scer\GAL4^nub.PK, same phenotype at 18[o]C), increased pupal lethality or strong eye phenotype (with Scer\GAL4^ey.PH). Expression driven by Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PI is lethal; no overt adult phenotype is observed with either Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF or Scer\GAL4^en.PU.
