      Expression of Su(var)2-10JF01408 under the control of Scer\GAL4C-765 results in smaller wings with mildly crinkled appearance.

      Expression of Su(var)2-10JF01408 is larval lethal with melanotic tumors (with the Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI driver) or results in: small rough eyes (with Scer\GAL4ey.PH), unfurled (at 25[o]) or deformed with blisters (at 18[o]C) wings (with Scer\GAL4nub.PK), crinkled (at 25[o]C) or slightly deformed (at 18[o]C) wings (with Scer\GAL4en.PU) in adult flies. Expression controlled by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF has no overt adult phenotype.

      The wing defects (partial fusion of veins L3 and L4) characteristic for flies expressing smoPKA12.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4C-765 are strongly exacerbated by co-expression of Su(var)2-10JF01408 (which on its own induces moderately reduced wing size and crinkled appearance) leading to small severely misshapen wings.
