UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of the Eph coding region which is tagged at the C-terminal end with five copies of Tag:MYC. The 5' and 3' untranslated regions are not included in the construct, and nucleotides 475-486 of the cDNA sequence have been replaced with a Cavener consensus start site placed directly in front of the putative signal sequence (TTTCGAGAATGT has been changed to CAATCAAAATGG).
Expression of EphScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of any one of Scer\GAL4elav-C155, Scer\GAL4sca-537.4, Scer\GAL4elav.PLu, Scer\GAL4ftz.ng, Scer\GAL4A80 or Scer\GAL4GMR.PF does not result in a mutant phenotype.
Expression of EphScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the simultaneous control of Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 and Scer\GAL4elav.PLu does not result in a mutant phenotype.
Scer\GAL4GH146/EphUAS.Tag:MYC is an enhancer of abnormal neuroanatomy | adult stage | somatic clone phenotype of meigo1
Scer\GAL4GH146/EphUAS.Tag:MYC is an enhancer of adult antennal lobe projection neuron | somatic clone phenotype of meigo1
Expression of EphScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GH146 enhances the targeting defects seen in homozygous meigo1 DL1 projection neuron clones.
