      Expression of runΔ7.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4MT14 results in the disappearance of the lamina plexus in the optic lobe of larvae, due to the axons of photoreceptors R2-R5 terminating in the medulla (normally they terminate at the lamina plexus).
