Progenitor genotype	P{EPgy2}Mob4^EY23407 (Schulte et al., 2010)
Nature of the lesion	Statement Reference Imprecise excision of the progenitor insertion, resulting in a 116bp deletion starting at position -33. The deletion removes part of exon 1 and the downstream intron. A 17bp footprint of the insertion (CATGATGAAATAA) remains at the original insertion site. (Schulte et al., 2010)

Detailed Description
	Statement Reference Homozygotes and Mob4[EYΔL307]/Mob4[EYΔL3] adults have a significantly reduced lifespan compared to controls. Third instar mutant larvae have a "tail-flip" phenotype. Mob4[EYΔL307] third larval instar neuromuscular junctions show relatively normal synaptic depression during 10 Hz stimulation in 2mM extracellular Ca[2+] but complete failure in EPSCs are seen after 4 seconds with a faster 50Hz stimulation train.
